Blacksmith Friday Knife-Making Class Voucher

Give the gift of fire, steel, and a knife they made themselves.

This Blacksmith Friday voucher covers one seat in Sword Wolf Forge’s two-day, hands-on knife-making class with Andy Burcham in Johnstown, Ohio. It normally costs $500, and for a limited time it’s $450.

On day one, your recipient forges a full-tang knife from raw high-carbon steel, profiles it on the grinder, and heat treats the blade. On day two, they grind the bevels, finish the steel, fit and shape the handle, and put a working edge on it. They go home with a fully functional knife and a real understanding of how it was made.

Lunch and bottled water are provided both days, and classes are capped at two students, so Andy spends real time with each one.

How it works: After checkout, you’ll get an email with a printable voucher. Print one voucher for each seat you purchased. On each one, fill in your recipient’s name on the “To” line and your name on the “From” line. Then write your order number on the “Order #” line. You’ll find it in your order confirmation email, and it starts with #. Wrap it up or slip it into a card, and when your recipient is ready, they call Andy to pick their class dates. The order number on the voucher is what Andy uses to confirm the seat, so please make sure every voucher has it.

No experience is needed. Students under 18 are welcome when a parent or guardian enrolls and attends the class with them as a second student. All voucher sales are non-refundable.
